Relics: what they are and whether they are in SEA

Yes, relics are live in SEA. They unlock at level 65 and fill eight linked slots with stat items. Matching pairs activate a resonance bonus (about +3 of a stat for blue pairs, +10 for legendary), each relic has a rerollable bonus attribute, and later Divine Relics add class set bonuses.

Basics

  • Relics unlock at level 65 (PJVC, 29 July 2026).
  • Eight slot types in four linked pairs: Bane with Guard, Vitality with Downfall, Harmony with Slay, Mercy with Judgement (PJVC). OWIISHII's builds show the same slot names.
  • Each relic's suffix is its stat: Fortitude = STR, Agility = AGI, Insight = INT, Fortune = LUK (PJVC). Gameplay.tips' Creator guide recommends a 'Sage' relic with STR.

Rarity and resonance

  • Common (blue) relics need a matching pair for their resonance, which gives about +3 of the stat. Epic (purple) need four pieces. Legendary (orange) need two and give about +10 (PJVC).
  • Gameplay.tips' progression for a DEX class: all blue, then all purple, then all yellow (legendary), then all red, rerolling for raw ATK and CRIT at the end.
  • Relics count toward your overall gear rating (PJVC).

Getting and improving relics

  • Relics drop from chests in the Ancient Ruins event and can be bought in the Trade House; common relics cost only a few thousand zeny (PJVC).
  • Reroll the random bonus attribute with three Stones of Destiny and 5,000 zeny; the magnifier icon shows the affix pool (PJVC).
  • Divine Relics are fused from 20 Heroic Plumes (from Reborn treasure maps, 100 Starstones each, random). They carry class set bonuses at 2 to 6 pieces, up to +1 main-skill level. Promotion unlocks at level 75 (PJVC).

What to put on relics

  • Use relics to cover a stat breakpoint you are short of, so base points can go to your damage stat. Example: PJVC's cart Whitesmith takes AGI from relics to reach the 0.5 s Cart Ram cooldown.
  • STR for most Merchant-line builds (RTNW Hub; Ivo Play; Kyaeds), AGI and DEX for the Thief line (RTNW Hub), DEX for ranged Archer and Gunslinger builds (Gameplay.tips).
  • The 'Relics of the Starry Sea' event (late August) is a weapon transmog event, not this relic system (official SEA notice).
