Leveling routes and XP efficiency
as of 2026-08 (SEA)
Leveling combines main story unlocks, open-field grinding, dungeons, and event bonuses. The fastest players optimize travel time, kill speed, and quest turnover rather than fighting the toughest monsters available.
Level brackets
- Levels 1-20: tutorial and starter-zone story; upgrade weapons whenever possible and sell obsolete gear.
- Levels 20-40: first major field zones; fight monsters weak to your damage element and use party EXP bonuses.
- Levels 40-60: dungeons and regional story become the main XP source; run daily instance entries.
- Level 60+: steep XP curve - prioritize weekly content, organized MVP parties, and event quests.
XP rules
- Only kills inside your daily wild-point budget (3,600/day: 600 Monster Extermination + 3,000 Healthy Combat) grant XP and drops; kills beyond it drop headgear materials only.
- Monsters 1-5 levels above you give 110% XP; same-level gives 100%; several levels below drops to near zero.
- Redeem codes (ROW666, ROW777, ROWTOP1, etc.) for potions and boost items that cut downtime.
Efficiency tips
- Unlock teleport nodes and mounts early; running across the map destroys XP per hour.
- Invest skill points in clear-speed skills first; PvP/raid talents can wait.
- Stack boost consumables during double-XP events for multiplicative gains.
- Avoid fighting over-level enemies solo - death penalties (repair costs, resurrection downtime) erase gains.
